Bronze Sculpture depicting Saint Pope John Paul II

The 3 meter high bronze sculpture depicting Saint Pope John Paul II was commissioned by His Eminence Cardinal, Edoardo Menichelli, as an homage to the city of Ancona at the end of his term in office at the Archdiocese. The sculpture, located at the base of the bell tower of the Saint Ciriaco Cathedral, depicts the Pope in a moment of meditation and aims to convey a strong bond of the city with the Popes.
