Every bronze figure created by Progetto Arte Poli begins as a model in clay. It is here, entirely by hand, that proportions, gesture, and expression are studied and refined, long before any casting takes place. This stage is carried out by sculptors trained within the studio and is never delegated to mechanical or digital reproduction. The character of the finished work, its posture, its presence, the way it is meant to be seen, is decided at this point, in clay, under the sculptor’s hand.
Once the clay model is complete, it guides every step that follows: mold-making, casting, and finishing. Each statue passes through the hands of the same artisans from beginning to end, resulting in a work shaped entirely by hand, in keeping with a tradition of sculpture that has remained unchanged for centuries.
